We have had a great start to the year in Room 4 Mataī.

Our classroom is very exciting and we have had great adventures working out how to use our new space to make the most of our learning.

Luckily, we have a great learning crew in Mataī who are very willing to raise their level of responsibility. We have been practicing being learning friends, talking about learning at learning time and really focusing on our learning tasks.

Room 5 and 6 have been meeting with us every morning for aerobics. This helps our minds and bodies to prepare for the day ahead.

Learning plans are coming home this week. Each child has a home book with information and knowledge they may need to rote learn. Reading books are also coming home, so I hope you make this an easy time reading with your lovely children; and remember to put your books back in your reading folder ready for school every day.
